The Present Tense Hour.
Sunday, 7–8pm. Phones away. One hour, properly off.
You don’t need a week in a cabin with no wifi. You need an hour.
Put the phone in another room, or the bowl by the door, or the bottom of a tote you can’t be bothered to open. Light something. Read, cook, talk, sit. Do nothing, with great commitment.
We’ll remind you.
Add to calendar.
Every Sunday, 7 to 8pm UK time, with a gentle alert fifteen minutes before. Works with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook, and keeps to UK time when the clocks change.
Add to calendarDownloads a small calendar file. Open it to add the repeating event.
Remind me.
A short note on Sunday so the hour doesn’t slip by. Reminder emails aren’t switched on yet; sign up now and you’ll get them once they are. The calendar file works today.
Share your pause. A small invitation for someone to join you on Sunday.

Share the hour.
No pressure to post. But if one person puts their phone in the bowl by the door because of you, that counts.
Nothing is posted for you. Share opens your phone’s own share sheet when it supports images; otherwise save the image and add it to a Story yourself.
