Present Tense started with a feeling you probably know: being three tabs deep and somewhere else entirely. Present all day, but never quite in it. We wanted to make something small that pushed the other way — a nudge to look up, slow down, and be where you are.

We're here to help you be here.

Why tees, first.
A t-shirt is an odd place to start a brand about presence — until you think about it. It's the thing you pull on without thinking, worn all day, seen by everyone you meet. So we made ours say one honest thing. A quiet mark on the front; a statement across the back — because the person behind you in the queue could probably use the reminder too. No logos shouting. Just a small idea you can wear.
How we make them.
Every piece is printed to order on heavyweight organic cotton, GOTS and OCS certified, only once you've bought it. Nothing sits in a warehouse; nothing gets binned. It's slower, and that's the point. Made to be worn out, not thrown out.
Made to be worn out,
not thrown out.

Where this is going.
Tees are the beginning, not the brand. Present Tense is really about one question: how do we help people be present, and connect — with the moment, and with each other? That opens a door well beyond clothing — things that get you off the screen and into the room, ways to slow down together. We're building slowly, on purpose. This starts with tees. It won't end there.
